The AT24C64 provides 64 kbits of serial electrically erasable and programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) organized as 8192 words of 8 bits each. The device is optimized for use in many industrial and commercial applications where low-power and low-voltage operation are essential. The AT24C64 is available in 8-contact module.

Atmel AT24C256

The AT24C64 provides 64 kbits of serial electrically erasable and programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) organized as 32786 words of 8 bits each. Atmel AT88SC0104C

The AT88SC0104C is a CryptoMemory chip which has 1024 bits of user memory with advanced built-in security and cryptographic features. CryptoMemory has a configuration memory that contains registers to define the security rights for each user zone and space for passwords and secret keys used by the security logic of CryptoMemory. Through dynamic, symmetric mutual authentication, data encryption, and the use of encryptedchecksums, CryptoMemory provides a secure place for storage of sensitive information within a system.

Infineon SLE4442/5542

The Infineon SLE5542 is an intelligent 256 Bytes EEPROM Secure Memory IC with Write Protection function and Programmable Security Code. The SLE5542 is 100 % functional compatible to SLE4442. It features a 32 ¡Á 1 bit Protection Memory and Byte-wise write protection of first 32 addresses (byte 0¡­31) of Data Memory. It is produced in advanced CMOS-technology optimised for security layout.

Infineon SLE4428/5528

The Infineon SLE5528 is an intelligent, ISO7816 compatible Secure Memory IC with synchronous communication protocol. The memory size is 1024 Bytes EEPROM. The SLE5528 is 100 % functional compatible to SLE4428. The access to memory is protected by a 3 Bytes secret code for data write only. It allows free read of data (except PIN protected data) and a Non reversible byte-wise write protection of the lowest 32 addresses.

Contact smart cards are split into two major categories: Memory and Microprocessor. Memory cards are like CDs; they hold data but are not intelligent devices. Microprocessor chips are like PCs as they hold data and are intelligent.

PIN Protected Memory Cards:
Applications include fuel cards, vending cards, loyalty applications, electronic coupons, subscriber¡¯s card, electronic purse, membership cards, utility prepayment, identity and variety of protected portable data files.
